TROOP SUMMER CAMP OPEN HOUSE sponsored by the South Florida Council Camping Committee
From 11 am to 3 pm at Camp Elmore for all
SF Council Scouts BSA and Venturing Units.
Scouts , Venturers and Leaders may come and receive information
from long term summer camps whom offer our South Florida
Council Units their “In Council Rates”.
If you have not decided on a
summer camp for the summer of 2022 or 2023 this event could
benefit your Unit. Come out and spend time speaking with the
representatives from the many Councils where our Scouts and
Venturers camp. Only one Unit representative needs to attend,
but more are welcome to be there. Come out anytime between
11 am and 3 pm. You MUST choose from multiple 15 minute time slots to ARRIVE at camp and begin your tour.
All Time Slots from 11 AM -1 PM Start Time are FULL
2:45PM -3 PM is FULL
PLEASE choose a different Time Slot for your Arrival Time
There will be drawings for a week of Summer Camp at some of the camps represented during the Open House.
Since South Florida Council does not currently offer a long
term summer camp program we wish to assist our Units with
their journey to find great BSA Camps for their
Scouts and Venturers.

To attend– Please register your Unit by registering here online and choose your time slot.
Due to COVID all participants will be pre-scheduled in smaller groups to avoid having more than one group visiting a attending summer camp display at one time.
No one may attend whom has COVID, whom is sick, a temperature over 100 degrees, or whom has been exposed to anyone with COVID in the past 14 days. No one may attend whom currently has COVID symptoms. Please stay home for everyone’s safety and allow someone else in your Unit to attend and get the information for you.
Masks are required if you have NOT been vaccinated. Masks are optional IF you have been vaccinated. We still ask everyone to provide distance between themselves and any other non family member participant. This is for everyone’s safety.
11 am-3 pm- broken down into sixteen different 15 minute intervals. Your group will travel together after starting in your correct time slot.
If your time slot is over capacity Camping Chairperson reserves the option to contact you and move your time to a different time. First registered- First served. Have a back up time slot in mind when registering if needed.
