Radio Merit Badge Program

 

RADIO  MERIT BADGE    

This will be completed as part of the local Ham Radio Field Day throughout the country by many local Ham Radio Clubs  – Scouts may talk to Scouts around the nation or world on this date via radio                                              

When: September 17 , 2023

Where:   Camp Elmore – Aquatic Pavilion

Time: 9:00AM – 2:00PM

Cost:   $20.00  Early Bird Registration if registered by 09/03/2023 NOON

Scouts need to be in Class B- Activity  uniform, bring a water bottle, non perishable snacks, paper, pen or pencil.

Lunch will be provided- Cheese Pizza, chips and drink- if Scout has special dietary requirements- you may provide your own non perishable lunch as well.

Pre- requisite:

All Requirements for the Merit Badge are linked below for registered Scouts to familiarize themselves with before attending this program. They MUST do so.

 

Attending these classes will not guarantee the completion of a merit badge unless all work is completed and and turned into the Merit Badge Counselor.

This is not a program for Cub Scouts- All Scouts BSA must be properly registered in SF Council

All Scouts must review the requirements and complete the requirements to earn the Radio Merit Badge.

Requirement; 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, 8, 9 Part A only ( B and C not required for MB)

Last Day to Register is  Sept 14 , 2023, NOON   or when class is full.
