All Cub Scouts welcome
What is it? The Phoenix District Fishing Derby is open to Cub Scouts and their siblings to learn skills like safety around lakes, tying knots, casting, bait preparation, baiting hooks, fish identification, proper fish release methods. All fishing is Catch & Release. Bait will be available. Bring your own fishing rod, we may have a few to borrow- however remember first come– first served.
Activities? Earn your Bear Goes Fishing Adventure or just have fun fishing in our fully stocked lake. Also Sling Shots will be available
When & Where? Saturday, June 5th from 9:00 am to 2 pm.
This event will be held at the Camp Elmore Aquatics Center Phoenix Fishing Derby- Camp Elmore Map
- 8–9 AM – Check In
- 9-2 PM – Fishing Derby
- 10-1 PM- Slingshots shooting will also be available for Cub Scouts
How much: Only $ 5 –For All Scouts and Siblings — What a great bargain for FUN
Bring a Cub Scout aged Friend not in Scouts whom wants to come with you and they are Free!
Show them all the FUN you have in Cub Scouts and invite them to join YOU in your Pack!
Bring your own bag lunch and have lunch with your family together- Mom always loves a picnic!
Supervision? Each child must be supervised by a parent or adult leader at all times. Adults are FREE
Cost? On time Fee is $ 5 per participant, this includes Cub Scouts and Siblings
Refunds? Refunds are not available, but fees are transferable to another Scout or sibling at this event if is notified by Friday, June 4th, 2021, Noon.
Registration? Online registration available until June 4th at NOON
What to Bring? Depending on your needs bring: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, water bottle, rain gear, insect repellent, a great attitude and a camera to record all the fun you will have!
