          Mammal Study Merit Badge 

                          

When: July 29, 2024 

Where: Virtual via Zoom 

Time: 6:00-8:30PM 

$10.00 Early registration if registered by 7/15/2024 

     $20.00 registration if registered after 7/15/2024

Scouts need to be in Class A uniform, paper, pen or pencil and the  

pre-requirements completed. Participation is limited to currently registered scouts.

All scouts must review the requirements and complete the pre requirements. Requirements #3C & #4G need to be emailed to Both emails above by Wednesday 7/24/24.  Requirements #5 Your choice needs to be given to your counselor once you select it. Then it must be completed by 8/11/2024 here are some suggestions. 

• Install a squirrel feeder in your backyard. 
• Find some usable land and plant trees that a local mammal uses in their life cycle. 
• Volunteer at your local animal shelter or humane society. 
• Build bat boxes (if you have bats in your area) 

 Be prepared to answer questions about the requirements listed for this merit badge that will count towards your sign off on the merit badge.
