2021 Lincoln-Marti Camporee, Saturday, January 23rd, 2021

What is it?  The Lincoln-Marti Camporee is an event held in the heart of Miami-Dade County for past 50 years.  This event has brought many in the Scouting Community lifelong friendships.  Due to the worldwide current Covid-19 situation, this event will take social distancing measures.  This year the Lincoln-Marti Camporee will be an evening celebration of Carlos Arboleya’s life and vision.  Please join us for a special evening of scouting fellowship as we keep the vision going for many years to come.   

When? Saturday, January 23rd, 2021.

Where? Carlos J. Arboleya 
Picnic & Camping Grounds 
7025 West Flagler Street 
Miami, Florida 

Time: 5PM – 8PM

Cost?  $5.00 per person– limit of 125 total participants

Food?   Food Not Provided with Event Registration.

What to Bring?  Water is a must! Bring a cup or water bottle! Camping Chair, Cold/Rain Weather Gear.

Weather? This is a “rain or shine” event.

Insurance: Liability as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance is provided for all registered members and leaders of the South Florida Council.

No Refunds for Scouts cancellations, no refunds for Scouts that are No Shows. Fees may be transferred to another Scout for this same date, and event if Denis Silva is notified 24 hours prior to start of activity via e-mail.

Social distancing, group size of ten or less, proper sanitization , and masks must be worn by all persons attending the Lincoln Marti Camporee. 

No person may participate, bring Scouts, or be on the Camp property whom:

  • Has a temperature greater than 100 degrees. Parents/Guardians included
  • Has any COVID symptoms.
  • Has been exposed to any person whom has had COVID within the last 14 days
  • Does not arrive wearing their own properly fitting personal mask/face covering of mouth and nose
  • If you were tested for COVID (for any reason) in the last 14 days, and you have not already received back NEGATIVE results do not participate
