What is it? The Cub Scout Family Fun Day & Campout is an opportunity for Cub Scouts and their families to start the Cub Scout year off with a fun outdoor event. This Cub Family Fun Day will feature games and activities designed for the entire family.

When? Saturday, October 2, 2021, beginning at 9:00 am and concluding by 3:00 pm.

Gates open for Participants at 8 AM, all activities start at 9 AM Sharp

Registration: Available online at www.sfcbsa.org . Patch and lunch guaranteed ONLY if registered by September 27, 2021 by  11 PM. Early Bird closes on September 27, 2021

Event  locations WILL close when capacity is FULL based on COVID capacity for that location. Please choose a different location if your first choice is at capacity.

NO WALK INS

 

Online Registration CLOSES on September 30, 2021, at 11:00 PM. Individual camp location reservations stop when that camp location reaches its COVID capacity.

Where? Attend one of these locations:

Cost?

$ 10 Day Pass per person (including adults and siblings). Fee covers lunch & patch if paid by 09/27/21

$ 10 One Night Camping (including adults and siblings). Fee covers Camping Only-

Supervision?  A parent or guardian must accompany and be responsible for each Cub Scout and other family members (siblings) for the entire day event, and for any overnight camping

Weather? This is a “rain or shine” event.

Food? Lunch Saturday is provided for all pre-registered participants if paid by September 30, 2021 by 11 AM.

We are taking extra additional sanitization precautions

COVID: All Current CDC and County or State Covid procedures will be adhered to at time of event. these will be updated online one month prior and updated as needed.

No one may attend:

Who has COVID-19, or COVID-19 symptoms. Or who is feeling sick.

Who has a temperature over 100 degrees.

Who has been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms in 14 days

What to Bring? Each family is responsible for their own equipment for the Day Event or for
Camping. Suggested items to bring for camping:
✓ Tent, Sleeping bag, blankets, pillow, air mattress or pad
✓ Rain gear, Change of clothes, close-toed shoes
✓ Toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, washcloth, towel
✓ Hat or cap, water bottle, flashlight, sunscreen, sunglasses, Insect repellent,
camera

A Parent-Guardian must be registered for every Cub Scout attending.

Refunds? Refunds are not available, but fees are transferable to another Scout prior to start of event, if the above Staff Advisor is notified by Monday, Sept 28, 2021  by NOON
