There is no cost for registration

Registration closes on November 6, 2026

Everyone should bring a lunch (there is nothing open on campus to buy lunch on Saturday), water bottle, drinks, snacks, etc.

Troop T-shirts with any shorts are fine. Closed-toe shoes are NOT required. I recommend something people can get wet,

like crocs. A parent is welcome to stay.

Prerequisites: The scouts need to review all the videos at: https://www.scouting.org/merit-badges/oceanography/ for discussion during class. Scouts can bring a laptop with the worksheet on it so that they can type in answers during the merit badge. If a laptop is not available, they can bring a hard copy of the worksheet. Scouts are required to turn in a completed merit badge worksheet to get credit for the badge.

The worksheet is on the registration page. Use ONLY that worksheet.
