BALOO Training (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation)

What is it? Are you a new (or experienced) Cub Scout leader with a desire to plan and carry out an exciting outdoor experience for your Cub Scout pack? But, you say, you have very limited camping experience. Then this course is just for you! You will learn the focus of Cub Scout-level outdoor program, acquire the skills to plan and carry out a successful overnight activity; and increase your knowledge of the resources available to you.

All attendees must have YPT- Youth Protection Training– prior to this course.  https://my.scouting.org/

Bring completion Certificate with you.

Who? Any and all Cub Scout leaders – BSA policy states that at least one BALOO-trained leader must be in attendance on a Pack Overnighter.

Saturday  April 25, 2026 at 8:00 am to Sunday April 26, 2026, at 12:00 pm

Registration will open by March 10th, 2026

Cost is only $35 until April 5th, 2026, afterwards it is $ 50 if space is available

Spaces are limited- register early. All online registration closes on April 19th
