2026 OA Haunted Forest Weekend Campers

Haunted Forest Weekend Camping- for Cub Scout Packs: 

Cub Scout Packs  Camping at the OA Haunted Forest- Friday 5 Pm through Sunday 11 Am-

RESERVE AS A UNIT- Not as Families-

Units MUST provide adequate correct Registered Adult BSA Leadership to camp onsite.

All Units may reserve a maximum of 50 campers. All Campsites will be assigned after all registration has closed online

South Florida Council Units have priority until October 10th. Out of Council Units should wait until then to register- if space is still available. BB and Archery will be available for Cub Scouts only and will be booked by the Admin after all camper registration is complete. If youth in your Unit wish to participate in Archery or BB Gun on Saturday- please e-mail with the Unit Number and headcount of youth or you will not receive a timeslot.

Campers MUST arrive and take their gear to their campsite Friday night before 9 PM. There will be NO VEHICLE travel between 9 PM Friday and 9AM Sunday to the campsites – since our OA Staff and Actors are building the OA Haunted Trail- then running the event- and then later disassembling it. All gear must be walked into/out of camp using a wheelbarrow or your carts from Friday 9PM till Sunday 9AM. Advise all families.

All Cub Scout Pack Weekend Campers will receive:

Weekend Camping (meals not included), Event Patch, Unlimited Trail Ticket and Unlimited Midway Ticket to the Saturday night OA Haunted Forest.

The opportunity to participate in BB Gun, Archery Ranges and the day activities on Saturday October 24th.

Let the OA cook Dinner for you on Saturday night-Food will be available to purchase for Saturday night onsite or in advance HERE

There are NO day Events at Camp Elmore for CUB SCOUTS -UNLESS YOU ARE A REGISTERED WEEKEND CAMPER. You may not come out for the Day ONLY and join your Pack. There is not ONE NIGHT CAMPING- there is only WEEKEND 2 Night CAMPING for this event. Friday 5 PM -Sunday 11 AM

You may come out for the NIGHT ONLY on Saturday night by purchasing TRAIL TICKETS at this site. HAUNTED FOREST TRAIL TICKETS

If you come out for the Night Only on Saturday night and you may join your Cub Scout Pack for the FUN after 6 PM-

You may not stay overnight unless your a registered paid camper.

Scouts BSA Troops may also camp at the Haunted Forest Weekend Event if they agree to work on staff and work at the Haunted Forest- Contact your Districts OA Chapter for more information.  O-Shot-Caw Lodge

Proceeds from the OA Haunted Forest are used to assist the O-Shot-Caw Lodge in running their annual events and to help our Scouts who may not be able to afford camping through the Joseph Aaron Abbott Campership Fund. The Campership pays for partial summer camp fees- allowing all Scouts to still fundraise and help pay their own way for camping. Campership Forms will be available on January 1st, 2027.

Who can come to the OA Haunted Forest —All are invited- All Scouts, their families, neighbors and their friends- this is a FUN Family Friendly evening

There are NO REFUNDS or Transfers if you cannot attend.

Packs may substitute a different Cub Scout or Adult for this event for one that cannot attend with 24 hr. advance notice received by 10/21/2026, to  Jeanine Kinsey

There are NO TRANSFERS  and NO REFUNDS for NO SHOW Campers or Evening Attendees purchased online.
