What? Getting Camp Everglades ready for the nice camping season. The main effort will be to get the camp mowed and the roads cleared of overhanging brush. Other potential projects include painting shelters, painting signs, painting composting restrooms, rebuilding fire rings or cleaning the main shelter. This site is opening on October 10, 2026 Everyone is welcome to come on Saturday night to the O.A. Haunted Forest at Camp Elmore. The Haunted Trail is open from 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM, on Saturday and there is also a “Bunny Trail” or “less scary trail” for those young ones, and those who (more…) →
